I first started at age 15 with Sifu Steve Brandon but was only able to study for a short period before the school closed. I moved to Phoenix in 1998 and started studying with Frank Jones at Glendale Community College. I was overjoyed and immediately became his leading student at the school. I drove 40 miles each way for 2 years before having to quit training because of time and family constraints.

In early 2003, I began studying Wing Chun under Sifu Phil Bradley. I was extremely excited after emailing Sifu Phil, knowing that I was getting back into the art that I love. He is a great instructor and I feel privileged to have found him.

My plans are to become an instructor and teach my kids, because I want them to be prepared if anything ever happens. I know that this will be the most effective art they will have the chance to experience. They mean everything to me and I am not willing to gamble their safety on anything else.
