I know, I know. You are probably thinking, "What is a dog doing here?!" Well, it's my site and I want him here, that's why. :o)

After thwarting one attempted break-in and killing five rattlesnakes (with the largest being over 5-1/2 feet long), he has proven his worth by doing his part to keep us safe. Therefore, why not include him here? I definitely would not take on a rattlesnake, much less five of them.

Naturally he is not without flaws, of course. He still has a thing about barking at falling leaves, people who are not really there, chasing his own shadow, and biting at dust in the air.

Clearly he has issues.

Given his track record with the snakes, though, I try to overlook them. He's good for a laugh, that's for sure.

Also, if you are like me then you believe that commercial dog food is actually a nasty thing to feed your pet. While some believe that it is good for them, people forget that dogs are carnivores and need REAL food. Sure, they can live with canned or bagged food, but what fun is that for a dog? Yuk.

And with the constant news of more tainted food being discovered, why put you and your pet through all of that?

I have been feeding Spyro a natural dog food recipe for quite some time now, and his veterinarian says he is doing great. He has lost weight, he is happier and healthier, and it makes me happier knowing that he is not living out of a bag or a can when I have no clue what went into it.

Click here to see the same recipes that I use for Spyro. I know your dog will thank you for it.
