"Christianity and the Martial Arts" addresses the many questions that surround Christians training in the martial arts. Is it right? Is it wrong? How can Christians justify the practice?
Most assuredly, there is nothing Biblically-based to state that a Christian is forbidden to learn a method of self-defense. There are guidelines for how we are to handle ourselves in times of crises, but the problem is that many anti-Christian martial art advocates proclaim a host of Scripture that simply does not state what they say it does.
Additionally, there are quite a few pro-Christian martial art advocates that make claims about certain Scriptural references, when it has nothing whatsoever to do with self-defense or protection of their families.
"Christianity and the Martial Arts" takes the guesswork out of the equation by examining these statements and showing unequivocally why it is perfectly fine for a Christian to study and actively train in a martial art.
