Still a few more weeks until our updated distance program is ready for release
Well, as you have seen, April 1 has come and gone and our DLP is actually a couple of weeks away from being re-released. I have been working very hard to finalize the videos and we are almost there, but admittedly the time it has taken was a bit more than I anticipated.
Programs such as this are usually designed, developed and created by teams of media professionals. It is that intense. When someone creates a program such as this, they usually hire a company to do it for them. That is great to a point but then they pass that fee on to their members.
For the AWCA, we do it all ourselves. I am the sole creator of everything you see, and myself and my students work hard to film and produce the videos and resources. With the amount of curriculums that will be available, it has just taken us a bit longer than expected to move a full DVD-based program to an online format.
No worries, though. It is definitely getting there but it has also just been a bit more time-consuming than I anticipated.
Our two training camps are coming up this year (with the first in just a couple of weeks), and we are also working to acquire a new house. Naturally with all that goes into that alone, add to that the process of creating a new online program and you can see the time involved.
But no worries. I am still plugging along and working to get your program up and running just as fast as I can. For current members, this means you will still be receiving DVDs until the online format is completed, just to let you know.
