It didn’t take long for others to see the momentum created by TapoutXT
As most of us going through the TapoutXT program already knows, it was a matter of time before others followed suit of mma-driven workout programs. George St. Pierre’s “Rushfit” is the first I’ve seen (although there may be others I don’t know about) that is following TapoutXT, so let’s see what it’s about.

Posted by Phil Bradley in Health & Fitness,Les Mills PUMP Program,Tapout XT | August 22, 2012Various programs that work for improving your Wing Chun
With the plethora of fitness programs on the market, which ones can actually improve your Wing Chun? Is there anything about them that is negative to our training?
Let’s take a look at some of the more popular programs that I have personally participated in to see what they’re about.

Posted by Phil Bradley in Health & Fitness,Tapout XT | August 9, 2012Though not brand new to the program anymore, it will still be a clean start from the beginning
Because of the move, my workouts were sacrificed a lot more than I intended. Chalk it up to being worn out from dawn til dusk packing and the unGodly swelter of Arizona summers in June, July and August (and from what I’ve seen in the news, the rest of the U.S., too)

Whew, what a workout. Today I worked the TapoutXT Muay Thai workout and that’s one heckuva program. As usual, just the warmup is almost a workout all its own compared to a lot of other programs. Five minutes of cardio already has your heart going pretty good, then it’s off to the workout itself.

For those wondering, I am still going strong with the TapoutXT program and can now highly recommend it for anyone looking to make a real change in both their fitness and fighting.

After a bit over a month now, Tapout XT is really living up to its name. My energy level has increased significantly, weight is dropping, and I feel more alive today than I have in a very long time. It is a very grueling program so beginners beware. You will definitely have a tough time for a week or so, but once you get limbered up and used to it, positive things start happening.
It’s still hard, don’t get me wrong. This is by far the toughest program I have ever been through! Every workout is a sweat machine waiting for the ON switch to get flipped, and even the 5 minute warmup is close to what you feel after a 25 minute workout with other programs. Don’t let it scare you, though. Go at your own pace, do what you can, and just keep going back for more the next day. You will be surprised at what you can accomplish when you put your mind to it and leave all the excuses outside.

Yesterday was day 3 of the TapoutXT program. You would think that 3 days would see little – if any – progress. After all, what can 3 days do, especially since I haven not been able to even get through a complete program yet?
However, I have already lost 3 lbs and am starting to feel that “good” stiffness throughout my entire body.

Talk about fast delivery, the Tapout XT program arrived today. Like a kid at Christmas, it’s been a long time since I’ve been excited to wear myself out. But when you know you are doing something that will make a positive life-changing event happen, it really ramps you up.

You all know my love of fitness training, but approaching 49 years old I am beginning to slow down a bit. I still have a lot left in me, make no mistakes about that! But after a very active lifestyle for over 35 years, I am also getting a bit bored with a lot of programs, too. They seem to be the same thing over and over, just packaged a bit different.
