The AWCA Distance Learning Program, a full-featured online training curriculum in Wing Chun Kuen
ETS and distance learning program buy now/subscribe now links active again
For some reason, our eBook Training Series purchase links and the Distance Learning Program subscription link was inactive. While I have a few thoughts as to what caused it, I’ll be looking into a future permanent fix. It’s nothing major, just the addition of a new style sheet that might have altered how the linking works.
But no worries. Everything’s been restored and verified to work again, so let me know if you run into any problems.
A critical look at what you really get with a distance learning program and if it’s right for you
Because of the AWCA’s popularity with both gym and distance learning members, we know a thing or two about working with today’s Wing Chun practitioners. Because of our success, I feel it’s my responsibility to weigh in on the experiences I’ve encountered and to help dispel the myth of martial arts distance learning.Read more ›

After a long-awaited release, our membership area is now completed for all staff and students of the AWCA. The AWCA Distance Learning Program now offers a free month of training to current members who refer others who enroll
One of the great features that our members are using is the “free month of training” feature. If a currently-enrolled member refers someone, and that person enrolls, then the member gets a free month of training. This has two major benefits.Read more ›
The AWCA Distance Learning Program is now fully online, resulting in both a reduced enrollment and monthly fee!
As you know, our Distance Learning Program has moved from DVD to an online format so that we can provide virtual classroom training faster and more efficiently, as well as upload more videos to meet the needs of today’s Wing Chun practitioner. This allows us to make changes and add new media on-the-fly vs. sending out DVDs (which is becoming too costly to continue).
I was very excited to get the program online, and to make it even better, I am reducing the monthly membership fee!Read more ›

A firm release date of Monday, May 7 is now scheduled for re-release of our Distance Learning Program
After months of working to move our videos to an acceptable online format (MP4), I am happy to announce that I will be making the program available again on Monday, May 7. All who asked to be placed on the notice list will be receiving an email shortly with how to enroll.
My students are taking this weekend to run it through its paces one last time so that Sunday evening I can correct any issues they encounter. I am not expecting any because I have worked through them already; still, you never know with so many users and different platforms being used. That is why I am waiting for their feedback vs. jumping in and going right now. A few more days and we will be good to go.Read more ›
