About AWCA
Arizona Wing Chun Association
The Arizona Wing Chun Association (AWCA) was founded in March 1993 by Si-Fu Phil Bradley. With its headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, the AWCA has schools and branches throughout the United States and around the world via its acclaimed Distance Learning Program.
AWCAOnline is the Internet home of the AWCA and has been online since 2000. Here you will find a great deal of information concerning the martial art of Wing Chun. Si-Fu Phil’s primary goal for AWCAOnline is to provide a true learning experience vs the typical site provided by so many others.
We continue to provide our free Video of the Month on our AWCA YouTube Channel, as well as our free monthly training newsletter, AWCA Notes.
To accommodate the many elements of new media we will be upgrading to, a brand new site created in WordPress was designed and built by Shawn Hesketh of LeftLane Designs. We can now provide all of the media you have been wanting, in a format easily manageable and maintainable.
The media provided on AWCAOnline was built to accommodate all levels of practitioners in many different lineages. In addition to training and teaching Wing Chun, Si-Fu Phil’s background in eMedia creation and technical writing has allowed him to create the full-featured eBook Training Series as both a learning and reference format. Taking it a step further, he then created the AWCA Distance Learning Program in order to reach those that do not have schools in their area.
The AWCA actively trains in Phoenix but also reaches our out-of-state members by holding member-only training camps twice a year. The West Coast Training Camp is held every April in Phoenix, while the East Coast Training Camp is held in Monaca, Pennsylvania. Every other year, the East Coast camp location changes in order to reach out-of-country members such as our students in Australia, Greece, Spain, and other countries.
If effective Wing Chun training information is what you seek, you have come to the right place.
